Trisha A. Prossick, MD is Board Certified in Dermatology and completed her medical training at the University of Maryland, New York Medical College, and the Kansas University Medical Center where she served as chief resident. Dr. Prossick has been affiliated with KMC Dermatology since 2005 and specializes in the women’s dermatology. Dr. Prossick is a fellow of the Women’s Dermatologic Society and the American Academy of Dermatology. She also served as a presidential line officer for the Kansas City Dermatological Society from 2006 -2008. Dr. Prossick is proud to have volunteered numerous hours to the Kansas City Metro Area providing cancer screenings at the Kansas City Marathon and other venues.

Kathani A. Amin, MD completed her specialty training at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Dermatology. Dr. Amin served as Chief Resident of Dermatology at the KU Medical Center and received the Patients Choice Award in 2008. She has subspecialty training in cosmetic dermatology, and is proficient in speaking medical Spanish. Dr. Amin is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, American Academy of Dermatology, and the Women’s Dermatology Society.

Joseph Gadzia, MD is Board Certified in Dermatology and serves as the Medical Director of the Laser Institute of Kansas. He completed his MD at the University of North Carolina and trained at the Medical Center of Delaware for internal medicine and the University of Kansas for dermatology. Dr. Gadzia is member of the American Academy of Dermatology. He has been affiliated with Kansas Medical Clinic since 2000.

Michael J. Kucenic, MD is Board Certified in Dermatology and Board Certified in Dermatopathology. He completed his specialty training in Dermatology at the University of Kansas followed by subspecialty training in Dermatopathology at Indiana University. Dr. Kucenic returns to his home state of Kansas after functioning as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Indiana University. Dr. Kucenic is a member of the following organizations: American Society of Dermatopathology and American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Kucenic has been affiliated with Kansas Medical Clinic since July 2008.

Jim Fackrell, PA-C has been in healthcare for 21 years, starting in the military as a U.S. Army Special Forces Medical Sergeant (Airborne). Jim has focused specifically in dermatology as a certified physician assistant since 2001.

Cindy Feagan, ARNP-C completed her MS in nursing as an ARNP at the University of Kansas in 2000. Prior to joining Kansas Medical Clinic, Ms. Feagan had extensive experience at both St. Francis Health Center and Stormont Vail Hospital in the areas of cardiac rehabilitation, outpatient day surgery, and the intensive care unit. She is a member of the Kansas State Nurses Association, American Nurses Association and Phi Kappa Phi honor society. She is certified as a family nurse practitioner with the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Ms. Feagan has been with Kansas Medical Clinic since 2000 and has focused her expertise in the areas of primary care and dermatology.

Krishna Schmidt, PA-C completed her physician assistant (PA) degree in 1996. She worked as a PA in family practice and allergy/asthma/ immunology before joining the dermatology team at Kansas Medical Clinic in 2006. Ms. Schmidt is able to diagnose and treat all dermatological problems and perform minor surgical procedures in the office. She has a special interest in the detection and treatment of skin cancers. Ms. Schmidt is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the Greater Kansas City Dermatological Society and the Kansas Dermatological Society. She has participated in various skin cancer screening clinics and donates time to a free clinic, the Johnson County Health Partnership Clinic.

Dorothy West, ARNP-C completed her Master’s of Science in Nursing as an ARNP at Washburn University in 2009. She has worked in the areas of Family practice, Internal medicine, Acute medical telemetry, Surgery, and ER before focusing her attention on skin care and dermatology. Ms West is a member of Nurses Organization of Veteran’s Affairs (NOVA), American Nurses Association (ANA) , Kansas State Nurses Association (KSNA), and the Dermatological Nurses Association (DNA) for Nurse Practitioners. She trained with Cindy Feagan ARNP and Dr. Gadzia in 2009, and jointed the staff of KMC Dermatology in 2010.
